Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro on Wednesday said that the ban imposed by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on pre-election recruitments in the federal and provincial government departments and diversion of public funds is an unjustified, illegal and pre-mature act. The government would challenge the ECP ruling in the courts of law. He was talking to media persons here on Wednesday at his office. Khuhro said the Sindh Assembly was due to complete its tenure on April 07 this year. The government would have all rights to use the constitutional authority and would continue to perform its normal functions including recruitments and using the development funds till the last day of its mandate. The Election Commission of Pakistan by imposing the ban on recruitments had stamped the elected government as an interim government, he said.
