At least three people were injured in an early Tuesday morning blast in an apartment located in North Karachi near Nagan Chowrangi.
According to police, a man, his wife and younger brother sustained injuries the attack at the fourth storey of Pearl Apartment located near Nagan Chowrangi in North Karachi and the flat was harmed.
The injured include 38-year Aijaz, his wife Tahira and younger brother Altaf. The blast triggered panic in the entire area.
Talking to a private television channel, SP New Karachi Salman Ahmed said the blast was caused by an IED developed in a tennis ball, adding three people are slightly injured in the blast.
Police started investigations into the incident.
