Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that masses would not allow derailment of democracy and all conspiracies would be foiled.
In a statement issued h on Wednesday, the CM said that elements who cannot digest the increasing popularity of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) amongst the masses, had occupied streets in the
“name of so-called revolution to sabotage upcoming general elections. However PML-N’s success is mandatory and no mafia could stop the change of system through electoral process”.
He said that Qadri had come to impair the peace of the country, but his nefarious designs would not succeed. He concluded that the change in system could not be brought through tall claims and addresses but it concretes policies and their implementation.
change is badly needed to get rid of both the corrupt ruling parties that is PML N and PPP but this change should come through fair and free elections. The fair and free elections can only be conducted by a fair election commission and fair care taker set up. Unfortunately this is not possible with these two ruling parties as they have a common goal ; that is not to let a third party in. So either army or judiciary must intervene to bring a fair set up.
