Factory area police arrested two drug dealers name Asif and Shahbaz and recovered more than two kilograms of heroin from their possession. In another raid, they arrested three members of Ashan gang which is famous for snatching mobiles. The police recovered weapons and other valuables from their possession.
In another incident, police arrested nine members of Farman robbery gang from the area of Baghbanpura. According to reports, police recovered heavy quantity of weapons, thousands of rupees in cash and two motorcycles from their possession.
Separately, police raided and arrested two members of Rafaqat robbery gang from South Cantonment and recovered a tractor trolley and illegal weapons from their possession.
In another incident, two criminals, Shahzad and Zohaib, were arrested from Gulberg who had allegedly been involved in many robberies. Police recovered motorbikes, dozens of mobiles and thousands of rupees in cash.
