Islamabad Sessions Court on Saturday disposed off the application moved by Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) which alleged that police and district administration is out to sabotage its long-march. TMQ had appealed that police and district management was removing its banners and posters forcibly and harassing its workers by conducting raids on their residences. Making the Islamabad IG, chief commissioner and SSP the respondents, the petitioner requested the court to bar the respondents from harassing the workers of TMQ and disrupting the long march. On behalf of Islamabad IG and assistant commissioner, SHO Abdul Sattar filed the official reply and stated that the posters were torn by traders and the matter had been settled between the two parties through conciliatory efforts.
