Rattled by the sudden re-emergence of Tahir-ul-Qadri, PPP has decided to hold talks. According to media reports, President Zardari has given a special task to Interior Minister Rehman Malik to hold talks with Tehrik Minhaj-ul-Quran head Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Qadri recently returned to Pakistan after living in Canada for seven years and announced he would lead a “long march” from Lahore to Islamabad this month to pressure the Pakistan People’s Party-led government to hold consultations with the judiciary and army on forming a caretaker set-up to oversee the upcoming general election.
Dr Qadri, please don't be deceived by the corrupt ministers. Get some guarantee if the govt announces electoral reforms.

Where was TUQ when the nation needed him the most, during Restoration of Independent Judiciary? If he was very busy on other fronts even then he could have come for a couple of weeks both in Mushraff and PPP time during this important struggle. All excuses! Now look he is with the two parties MQM and PMLq – both anti judiciary restoration, and in govt for so long. He just came now to derail democracy or —. Joke with the nation! Trying to fool us! We must not talk to some one black mailing, he could have tried to convince the political parties before threatning. If he can outset the govt. then other parties can throw his govt out in no time causing anarchy.
Mr. Javed Hashmi was arrested on 29th Oct. 2003, on charges of inciting mutiny and many others like Khawja Saad Rifique were put behind prison by Mushraff's opperisive regime, did TUQ uttered a single word on that injustice when he was a member of a rubber stamp parliment? Where were "assols"? "Actions speak louder than words".
