Pakistan defeated India 5-4 in an exciting Asian Hockey Champions Trophy final at the Al Rayyan Stadium in Doha, Qatar on Thursday to clinch the gold medal. It was a close match, marred by controversy in the final few minutes, with India walking off the field in protest against a penalty corner that was not given. They came back on with two minutes left in the match as Pakistan held on to secure the win.
Long live Pakistan! God bless Pakistan.
India has started crying.
No need to bring hatred into it,show class and appreciate the other players for the sake of sports and acts of kindness whether you win or lose.Lead by example for others to follow.Yes I'm a Pakistani,an educated Pakistani
CONGRATULATIONS. GREETINGS. MUBARAQ. GREAT WIN. PAKISTAN HOCKEY TEAM PLAYERS DID WELL IN THIS TOURNAMENT. BRILLIANT COACHING STAFF, AKHTAR RASOOL AND HANIF KHAN WORKED HARD TO BRING THIS GLORY TO THE COUNTRY AND PHF IS ON THE RIGHT TRACK. I AM SURE NOW THE TEAM WILL WORK ON THE CONSISTENCY AND ON THE DEFENCE, SINCE LARGE NUMBER OF GOALS WERE CONSUMED IN THIS OUTING. HOPEFULLY, THAT DAY IS NOT FAR AWAY, WHEN WE WILL BE OLYMPIC, WORLD CUP AND CHAMPIONS TROPHY WINNER. INDIAN SIDE IS IMPROVING VERY RAPIDLY AND CAN COME BACK ON THE MEDAL PODIUM WITH ONE BIG TOURNAMENT WIN. IT IS GOOD TO SEE THE NEIGHBORS ARE PLAYING WITH EACH OTHER AND KEEPING THE INTERESTING RIVALARY HEALTHY AND FRIENDLY. GOOD RESULT FOR BOTH.
