PPP, PML-N ushering in a corrupt interim setup: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan condemned the assassination of Bashir Ahmed Bilor on Saturday and said that a fair and free election could rid the country of all evils. PTI observed a one minute silence during a press conference in Karachi to honor the deceased anti Taliban Bilor. Imran Khan remarked that “PTI condemns Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan which has claimed the responsibility of the attack and their use of violence as a weapon to achieve their reprehensible ends is abhorred.”
Imran alleged that the leadership of PML-N and PPP were in cohorts to rig the upcoming general elections and warned both of a street revolution if their cronies were put in charge of the interim setup. Imran declared that all those who were subjecting PTI to political victimization would be taken to task once masses vote in the party with a heavy majority. “Any foul means in elections may result in terrible outcomes,” he warned. Imran met with delegations of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Metroville, Baldia town, Hazara Colony, Sohrab Goth, Korangi and Keamari. During his meeting with KCCI delegation, he said that “the law and order situation can be controlled within 90 days.. Khan remarked that 80 percent of the populace of Pakistan supported PTI. He pledged to turn President, Prime Minister and Governor Houses into public libraries and parks. He said any government could establish its writ within 90 days of it being electied and the PTI would prove it to its supporters. He said that the industrialists would be provided with a Pakistan which would be peaceful and free of weapons. Citing example of Muslim countries like Malaysia and Turkey, Khan said that countries which had inculcated in their traders and industrialists a sense of security and stability had developed socio-economically. He said that Pakistan would be made self sufficient by introducing structural reforms for energy, revenue and taxation regimes on war footings.

  1. People must support PTI in next elections if they want get rid of old, corrupt political parties like PPPP, PMLN, PMLQ.
