Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Imran Khan has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) have ‘joined hands in corruption and they have colluded with each other for the purpose’.
Speaking to media representatives after his arrival in Karachi, the PTI chief termed corruption as the biggest problem of the country. He pointed out that 67 percent of the parliamentarians do no pay their taxes, while corrupt leaders have their assets ‘secured’ abroad.
Moreover, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari both are tax evaders and they lack moral and legal authority to ask others to pay taxes and abide by the laws of land.
Imran Khan said that both the parties did not want to see “any change” to come in the country, adding that, both parties were colluding with one another. He said the people had chosen to bowl the PPP and the PML-N out simultaneously.
He said they will not let go those playing retaliatory politics, once they are in power. He reiterated that nothing will stand in the way of the determination of people.
He said other parties were involved in acting against PTI leaders, adding that, his party would get back at those behind these acts.
Khan was referring to the PPP’s offer to Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood as Punjab’s next governor in the context of his political rivalry with the PTI’s Jahangir Tareen.
Carefully speaking about the rally of religious figure Tahir-ul-Qadri’s in Lahore, Imran said ‘he has been speaking things that have nothing wrong in them’.
The PTI chief said he would be visiting all through the province of Sindh, adding that, the country’s issues could be resolved once the bane of corruption was tackled.
The three-day tour is being started with Khan spending the first day in Karachi to meet prominent businessmen of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and address a youth convention at a hotel to present PTI’s policy for the general elections. The PTI chief will address seven public gathering in Karachi, sources said.
On Sunday and Monday, Khan – along with the party’s central and Sindh chapter leadership – will visit Mirpurkhas, Dadu and other interior parts of the province to meet locals and convey his message for change.
He will address public gatherings at several places and listen to the locals’ grievances.

  1. The parties like PMLN, PPPP, PMLQ have "deliberately" destroyed the democratic system and make it corrupt. They have stakes in this corrupt system and they wont fix it. Because only this way they could get into power. So people must vote wisely in the upcoming election and choose a new, clean, honest leadership for the next 5 years, if they want prosperity in the country.
