The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday reserved its judgment in the Reko Diq case. The three-member bench of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmad and Justice Azmat Saeed resumed hearing in the case on Friday. During the course of proceedings, Khalid Anwer, counsel for Tethyan Cooper Company (TCCP), requested the apex court to appoint a commission so that a decision could be made in the light of its report. The chief justice said the decision would be made according the constitution of Pakistan. Later, the bench reserved its judgment until January 7.
