Three people including a woman were killed and several others injured when gas cylinder of a van exploded on Friday.
According to details, substandard CNG cylinder installed in a Lahore-bound passenger van coming from Multan exploded as it reached the Sahiwal Chowk, Chichwatni.
As a result of blast, three persons including a woman, died on the spot while several others sustained wounds.
The injured were rushed to hospital where according to hospital sources condition of few injured persons was also serious.
The police took the vehicle into custody and started investigation.
