Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Kalma Chowk underpass will be opened in the first week of January next year.
He stated this while presiding over a meeting regarding alternate traffic arrangements due to the construction of Kalma Chowk underpass on Thursday. The chief minister said, all resources should be utilized to keep the traffic flow smoothly at alternate routes and traffic wardens should be deployed at every point for the guidance of the citizens.
He said, the government is aware about people problems due to the closure of Kalma Chowk and taking every possible steps to ensure timely completion of the project.
