In a major development, Federal Territory Police Islamabad has promoted 27 employees of different categories to next rank.
The promotions of the police employees were given on the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Islamabad police. IG Islamabad Bani Amin Khan has given formal approval to these promotions.
Those who got promotion included five Sub-Inspectors(SIs), eight Assistant Sub Inspectors(ASIs) and 14 Head Constables(HCs) have been promoted in the next rank.
The meeting of Departmental Promotion Committee was held here headed by DIG Headquarters Sultan Azam Temuri. The other members of the committee were SSP Logistics Muhammad Yousuf Malik, SP Legal Nemat Ullah Kundi and Superintendent Establishment Branch-I CPO Islamabad Muhammad Ashraf.
Five Sub-Inspectors who have been promoted to the rank of Inspector in BPS 16 are Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Rafique, Muhammad Yar, Raza Muhammad and Abdul Ghafoor.
Very capable sub-inspector of the Shalimar police station in Islamabad should be promoted. His name is Mr. Gondal. I think he is from Chak 23, Mandiawala, Sargodha. I am sure he is also very senior in his rank in Islamabad. Good Luck Mr. Gondal. How is Faisal Taimur Naizi.
