Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain directed the party’s coordination committee in London and Karachi, and workers of zones, sectors, units and different wings to cancel all scheduled demonstrations. He asked them to show patience and refrain from using inappropriate language against the judiciary. He appealed to MQM workers to not go to the Supreme Court on 7th January and urged them to respect the sanctity of the court. He insisted that only legal and constitutional experts from the party should attend the court. “I do not want the sanctity of the court to be violated and I do not want to pursue the path of confrontation,” said the MQM chief. He said he would never make his person the cause of any potential confrontation keeping in view the current situation of the country.

  1. Altaf says he is not afraid of anybody but ALLAH. If thats the case then why does he not show up at court? The coward is afraid of his own shadow lol.

    • i m not his fan either in any circumstancesBUT courts are biased and corrupt on their own turf…look at Arslan billions ? what happened,,,, also Nawaz party never get any Suo Motto whatsoever…..so in short He and/or anyone shoud not care ib given circumstances….

  2. Altaf is praised by some anchors in Pakistani TV channels but I think he is an utter disgrace. He has no respect for the law of the land. He has thugs under his command who are unleashed from time to time to terrorise citizens and he recently showed an example of it.

  3. Altaf ko sirf pese le kar hi praise kia ja sakta hai. He is a Don…… a classic example of bhai as found in Indian movies. It is irony that he is not brought to the book. If in Pakistan u oppose Taliban and MQM u should remain prepared for an appointment with target killers . Media gives him way too much coverage than those leaders who have much larger vote banks than him. The coverage may be through the use of cash or coercion by Mutahida- i dont know . But i feel that this beyond the status coverage accorded to MQM and its leaders is rather irritating and is going to take them nowhere.
