MQM Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar said on Sunday that the census should be conducted prior to the new delimitation of constituencies in Karachi. Addressing a gathering here, Dr Sattar said if the census was conducted prior to delimitation of constituencies his party would cooperate in the process. “A census will provide people their rights,” Dr Sattar said. The MQM leader stressed that the delimitation of constituencies was the responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
