Tension gripped different parts of Karachi, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas on Friday night bringing business activities to a halt.
According to reports, unknown people resorted to aerial firing forcing the shopkeepers and traders to close their businesses. The shops, food centres, parks and petrol pumps were also forcibly closed.
The affected areas in Karachi include Orangi Town, Baldia Town, Saeedabad, Maskan Chowrangi, Hasan Square, old city areas, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Nagan Chowrangi Gulbhar, Sarjani Town, Shah Faisal Colony, Anda Morh, Hussainabad, Liaquatabad, Water Pump, North Karachi, Landhi, Korangi, Saddar and Tariq Road, Agra Taj and other areas of Lyari Town. A bus was torched by unknown people in Landhi.
Situation remained the same in other cities of Sindh including Mirpurkhas, Tando Allahyar, Nawabshah and Kotri where business activities were closed after unidentified men fired in the air.
