Education and Literacy Minister Pir Mazhar ul Haq on Thursday said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had never compromised on Sindh’s interests, and development projects worth billions of rupees had been completed during the current regime.
He said, “We do not want to get involved in a blame game but those who indulge in dirty politics, should realise what they are saying.”
He added that the people of Sindh knew which party had served them the most in the past and would vote accordingly in the coming elections.
During a visit to Kot Sharif and Dadu Pir, Mazhar said the PPP was the only political party which had sacrificed its leaders Zulfikaar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto for the cause of democracy.
He said no other political party could match the sacrifices PPP leaders and workers had made for the country. In the next elections PPP’s opponents would face a bitter defeat, he added.
