Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Saleem on Thursday ordered a crackdown on electricity theft. The operation was conducted under the supervision of Superintendent Engineer Mehboob Alaam Bhatti. Dozens of people were caught stealing electricity across the city. LESCO officials said they seized meters and recovered Rs 2,700,000.
