The Golden Globes 2013 nominations are here. The Golden Globes ceremony, the 70th in the history of the awards show, will be held on Sunday January. 13, 2013. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-host the Golden Globes awards. The Golden Globes are voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Per the Globes website, the group was found during World War II. Last year, “The Artist” and “The Descendants” won Best Picture in, respectively, the Musical or Comedy and Drama categories. “Modern Family” and “Homeland” won those awards on the television side. This year, “Les Miserables,” “Argo,” “Lincoln,” “Silver Linings Playbook” and “Zero Dark Thirty” are expected to compete for big awards. “Mad Men,” “Homeland,” “Game of Thrones,” “Breaking Bad” and “Modern Family” are among the potential television nominees.
