At least 14 suspected people have been arrested during an overnight targeted operation by the Rangers in several areas of Karachi.
The Rangers conducted the operation in different areas including Sohrab Goth, Machhar Colony, Afghan Basti and other adjoining areas.
According to the Rangers sources, the operation was triggered on tip-off regarding the presence of criminal elements in these areas and at least 25 mobiles partook in the operation.
The sources said the operation was launched to track down the elements responsible for yesterday’s attack on the Rangers check post.
