Zahiruddin Bishu, a notorious dacoit, was killed during a police encounter in Rawalpindi.
According to details, five armed robbers looted a house after taking residents hostage at gun-point. They shot and injured a man and his nephew during the robbery.
When they tried to escape, the police intercepted them near the Commercial Market.
The robbers opened fire at the police but Zahiruddin Bishu, the gang leader wanted in over 150 crimes, was killed in the retaliatory fire.
