At least three persons including a teenager girl were killed and three others sustained injuries in different traffic mishaps in Tank and Kulachi on Sunday Police and hospital sources said.
According to police, resident of village Gara Baloch identified as Umar Daraz was severely wounded when an over speeding pick-up hit him near WAPDA Colony in the limits of Tank police station. He was first rushed to DHQ hospital Tank and then DHQ hospital Dera Ismail Khan where he succumbed to his wounds.
Two other persons were killed in Hathala and Mulazai police station jurisdiction.
Meanwhile, Al Khidmat Foundation distributed relief items among 150 families of Mahsood tribe ousted from Wana.
Speaking to journalists on this eve, the uprooted Mahsood families complained that no arrangements were made for them by government and they were compelled to live under open sky.
These families strongly criticized political administration of South Waziristan Agency for not extending any cooperation to them.
