Sindh Assembly passes resolution against Kalabagh Dam

The Sindh Assembly passed a resolution against Kalabagh Dam amid uproar and exchange of harsh words on Friday.
Provincial Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah said the dam would not be constructed during the government of the PPP.
Members chanted slogans and used harsh words during the assembly session.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon again criticized Sharif brothers saying they were befooling the people of Sindh.
Memon said that his party, PPP, always respected women.
After his speech, PML-F’s Nusrat Sahar Abbasi also spoke against the PPP government.
Then suddenly the assembly hall looked like a market where people shout and cry.

  1. Sad to see law makers (if what they are, they seem more like trouble maker hooligans than law makers) behave in this manner.

    Construction of more dams including Kalalbagh Dam needs to be decided an undertaken on the basis of the needs.

    Scotish National Party (SNP) won election on the slogan of an independent Scotland but surely to loose in referendum as most Scots do not want to break away from Britain. It is simply not in any ones' advantage.
