The final approval for distributing solar energy kits among 8,000 students in government high schools has been accorded.
The kits will be presented to all students who had secured 55 percent marks in their class 9th examinations held under the education board, and were now studying in class 10th.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued directives to complete the distribution of kits until December 31.
These kits will be provided to Rawalpindi’s education department until December 10. Each kit includes three bulbs, a plate, a battery charger and one holder.
