Senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official Wasim Bari has cautioned the national team players to be alert throughout the India tour to avoid controversies. The former captain, who is now a PCB Director, advised the players to remain focused on just cricket. “There is always lot of glamour and glitz for the players whenever we go to India and our players must be careful they are not seduced by these things on the coming tour. “Many of the players in the national team have not been to India on a full tour and that is going to count for a lot because playing in India is a totally different experience from touring other countries for a youngster,” he said. “They must be on their guard all the time or else they will find themselves in the middle of some controversy or issue,” the former captain added. Pakistan is due to tour India from December 22 to play three one-day internationals and two T20 matches. It is the first bilateral series between the two nations in five years time and there is much hype already attached to the series. Bari said that the series would be a tough test for the Pakistan team.
