Pakistan Medical Association Balochistan chapter threatened to stage a strike against the “callous attitude” of the provincial government on Monday. Medical Association (PMA) Secretary General of Pakistan, Dr Mirza Ali Mazhar addressing media men at Karachi Press Club( KPC) said that the health department of Baluchistan was in ruins and added that over a thousand doctors would gather in Quetta on November 30 to strategize future line of actions if the federal and provincial governments failed to provide protection to doctors against Kidnappers and black mailers. He said that “Instead of solving the problems of doctors and protecting them from kidnapping and terrorism the provincial government is acting against those who have worked day and night for the benefit of patients.”
