Sindh Minister for Prison, Manzoor Hussain Wassan has expressed concerns over voters list prepared by Election Commission.
He expressed the reservations during his meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G Ebrahim here on Wednesday.
The provincial minister said that ‘votes of some areas were shifted to other areas’. He also asked the CEC to deploy army units at sensitive polling stations.
Wassan said strict vigil should be kept to restrain issuance of fake ID cards. He also said that the ‘opposition did rigging in the past but they will not follow the suite’.
The former Sindh home minister recalled that coalition partners had agreed for targeted operation in Karachi. He added that the local body elections in the country will be held after general elections.
