National Bank president Qamar Hussain donated Rs 500,000 to Child Aid Association of Jinnah Hospital.
NBP CSR division head Iqbal Qasim said that the bank would continue to help in resolving health problems. He also appealed to other institutions of country to donate for construction of children’s ward of the Jinnah Hospital Karachi. He vowed to restore electricity supply to Manghopir’s rural hospital whose building had been completed and equipment and beds had been commissioned but electricity connections had not been granted.
0.5 million rupees are peanuts. Jinnah Hospital needs atleast 50 million rupees.
