A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between International Islamic Charity Organisation Kuwait (IICO) and PDMA under which International Islamic Organisation would construct 200 homes at a cost of Rs.10 crore for the flood victims of Rakh Ehsanpur in Muzaffargarh. The MoU was signed by IICO Country Director Naseer-us-Saeed and PDMA DG Mujahid Sherdil on behalf of Punjab government. Sherdil while addressing on the occasion said that land had been provided by the Punjab government for construction of model homes and all necessary facilities would be available to the residents. He said that power supply would be available round the clock through a solar system while a dispensary, park and a modern school would also be constructed there.
