Israel pounds Gaza for 5th Day

84 Palestinians have so far fallen prey to Israeli fires and over 400 hundred wounded during the last 5 days.
Talks on the possibility of a truce between Israel and Palestinian to end five days of violence in Gaza are under way.
A Palestinian official said a deal could be reached today or tomorrow.
In Cairo‚ the Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has been holding talks on the crisis in Gaza with the Turkish Prime Minister. After it Morsi sounded a positive note.
Israel is continuing its assault on the Gaza Strip for a fifth straight day‚ bombarding the Palestinian enclave from both the air and sea.
Medical sources said 3 children were killed on Sunday. One of them was an 18-month-old killed in a air raid east of Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
King Abdullah of Jordan has ordered the immediate dispatch of urgent humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. He also called for taking measures to support the Jordanian military field hospital currently working in the Gaza Strip.

  2. This is selective and biased reporting by Pakistan Today. There is no mention that the present conflict started with Hamas raining rockets on Israel. Hamas knows only too well that messing with Israel brings instant retaliation, often with an iron fist. Hamas, emboldened by arms from Iran and support from Turkey, Egypt and Qatar, is testing its newly acquired arsenal; some of its people get killed by Israeli retaliation; that is no concern to Hamas. That is a small price to pay to be prepared for accurate bombing of Israel. Well, dream on!
