Nawaz would land in jail after elections: Sharjeel

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has stated that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) emerged victorious in the 1990 election through a transparent manner and that people of Pakistan would witness Nawaz Sharif behind the bars following the upcoming elections.
He further added that several cases are still pending within the Supreme Court and that the highest Court of the country was unable to provide the decision which was being expected of it since the past 4.5 years.
Talking about the nationalist parties, who have allied with Nawaz Sharif, Memon stated that such nationalist parties had always kept their mouth shut and remained away from the political scenario during a dictatorship. He further added that each PPP tenure sees them coming out of their holes to chant slogans against the PPP.
With respect to Karachi’s situation, Memon said that highly trained Rangers had been deployed within the city and that every possible step is being taken to restore peace in the metropolis.

The Sindh home department imposed the ban to avert any mishap and avoid unrest during the month of Moharram. Assistant Sub-Inspector of all police station of the metropolis were directed to register complaints and FIR’s Under Section 188 PPC against violators of section 144 Cr P C.
