Nationalists of Sindh observed a symbolic hunger strike in the protest against controversial Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance (SPLGO) 2012 outside Karachi Press Club on Tuesday.
Leader of the Sindh Bachayo Committee Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah and hundreds of the nationalists, including females, observed the hunger strike for five hours.
Sindh Assembly Member, PML-F leader Nusrat Sahar Abbasi also participated in the strike.
The protesters said that the act was aimed to create a state within state in the province.
