Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Tuesday underlined that both Pakistan and Afghanistan will have to work together for peace in the region.
He was talking to a delegation of Afghan High Peace Council led by Salahuddain Rabbani that called on him in Islamabad.
The prime minister assured that Pakistan will do all out efforts for a peaceful Afghanistan.
Salahuddin Rabbani said that the people of Afghanistan are grateful to Pakistanis for the assistance extended to them during their struggle against former Soviet Union.
Dilating on the incidents of shelling on the border‚ the two leaders agreed that there should be increased coordination between the two countries to stop such incidents in future.
