Superior College and Adabistan-e-Sofia won the school and college boys’ three kilometer team event of cycling in the Samsung 5th Inter-school, College Games here at Cycling Velodrome.
Hamza Foundation earned second position while Unique College bagged the third position in the boys’ college while Unique School was second and KIPS Rachna Town was third in boys’ school three kilometer team event of cycling. In school boys’ time trail event, Ahsan Ijaz of Adabistan-e-Sofia secured first position M Jalal Butt of Unique School got second and Hamza Faiz of KIPS Rachna Town third. In college boys’ one kilometer, Usman Bhatti of Superior College was first, Waqas Badar of Unique College was second and Zohaib Qadir of GCU was third.
Railway Road Lahore clinched the first position in the college boy’s boxing with 145 points including nine gold medals. Govt College Lahore was second with 55 points and eight golds while FC College was third with 50 points.
In tug-of-war school boys’ event, DPS Model Town was first, DPS Johar Town second and Govt Higher Secondary School Jallo More was third. KIPS College won the first position in the boys’ college tug-of-war event. Today (Tuesday), semi-finals and finals of table tennis will be played.
