Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that he would not accept an investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency in the Asghar Khan case despite Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif’s readiness to be probed by the agency. In an interview with a private TV channel, Nisar said Nawaz was his leader and he had every right to express his view point. At the same time, he said he too had the right to give his views. He said the record of FIA in the past four years was before everyone and had exposed the real face of the agency. Nisar said he was committed to his earlier stance of opposing the investigation by FIA. About the caretaker prime minister, Nisar said names were being short listed in wider consultation with all opposition parties and they included two retired judges of the Supreme Court. He said the nominees were not from Punjab but from smaller provinces, adding that they had selected such people whose character could not be questioned by anyone.
