Iran is dismantling its military complex at Parchin, the suspected site of nuclear experiments, said Yukiya Amano, the director general of Iran’s nuclear agency in a joint press conference with Iraq’s Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari on Sunday, adding he could not supply further details. Amano said there were “good reasons” for Iran to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as the Tehran government will be reopening talks with the agency on December 13. “The IAEA,” said Amano, “has an essential role to play in resolving this issue through diplomacy.”
