China has reiterated that it will continue to maintain close relations with Pakistan as it is based on strong popular support.
This has been stated by a senior Chinese Foreign Ministry official while briefing media in Beijing.
He pointed out that these bonds of friendship are also featured by high level frequent mutual visits.
The official said the friendship between the two countries is deepening with the passage of time.
