Punjab Sports Festival Deaf Dosti Cup

Six Indian teams of deaf and dump will be arriving here on Tuesday to take part in the Punjab International Sports Festival’s Dosti Cup. The teams of chess, cricket, wrestling, kabaddi, badminton and table tennis will be reaching Lahore via Wagha border.
According to Jamil Amin, Punjab Deaf Sports Association: “It is the part time that such a series involving six teams in different disciplines are taking part in the event. He said the cricket team will play T-20 matches.
He said the credit of organizing Dosti Cup goes to Director General Sports Board Punjab Usman Anwar who is taking keen interest in the promotion of special people. “Dosti Cup will better relations between Pak-India and through this competition we will be able to serve the cause of deaf sportsmen in the sub-continent,” he added.
