PML-N moves SC against Altaf Hussain’s telephonic address, Sindh governor

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Zafar Ali Shah on Thursday filed a constitutional petition in the Supreme Court against telephonic addresses of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain and the appointment of the Sindh governor. In his petition, Zafar requested the court to dismiss Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad and stop the MQM chief from holding telephonic addresses, saying that Altaf Hussain held dual nationality. “If a person with dual nationality cannot be a member of the parliament, how he could control lawmakers?” he asked, adding that this way, dual nationality holders could influence the legislation process.
He also pleaded the court to cancel the notification pertaining to Ebad’s appointment as governor, saying that the governor also held dual nationality. The petition made 89 persons and institutions respondents, including Altaf Hussain, Ishratul Ebad, five MQM senators, 27 MNAs, 49 MPAs, the Election Commission, Law Ministry, and PEMRA.

It is too late to intiate this burning qestions before the court,as it must have done very earlier.By telephonic address,altaf hussain is interfering and befooling the innocent people of country.He is not a sacred heart personality who addresses hin misled people in wrong ways.Moreover the appointment of Governor of Sindh is also the creation of So-called Gen, in exile Musharaf, and the governor of Sindh must be removed from this post.

  2. Spineless, gutless judges will never take tis case to trial. It involves principles, which they have none. Judges are more interested in securing power than dispensing justice. Just look at their performance. When it come to high profile cases, they drag it on. When it comes to ordinary man, they make big and tall claims. They have been fooling the people for the last five years.
