Man accused of firing on the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rally in Khairpur was killed in an encounter while attempting to escape from Sukkur jail. According to senior superintendent of police (SSP), the accused Azizullah Janwari Bagari was allegedly trying to break the prison with the help of his aides. However, police got the air and countered his attempt. Due to the firing exchange, the culprit was killed on the spot while his partners fled from the scene. Azizullah Janwari Bagari was involved in the shootout at the PPP rally led by MNA Nafeesa Shah in Khairpur where seven persons were killed.
