Islamabad police ensured fool proof security arrangements on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha in the capital city and officers as well as policemen had performed their duties with dedication and commitment in order to ensure protection of lives and property of the citizens.
Effective patrolling had taken place to avoid any untoward incident on the occasion and police officers, with a view to boost the morale of their colleagues, remained present with them on police pickets.
To boost the spirits of the personnel, Islamabad IGP Bani Amin Khan visited various police offices including Police Line Headquarters, Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters and Security Division. The IGP had lunch with officers and policemen and lauded their brilliant performance. DIG Headquarters Sultan Azam Temuri, Islamabad SSP Yaseen Farooq, SSP (Traffic) Dr Moeen Masood and other senior police officials were also present on the occasion.
Khan said that occasions like Eid were very crucial for those who were away from their near and dear ones.
“I can feel that it is very difficult for policemen to stay away from their children, parents, brothers, sisters and relatives on Eid. However, it is our duty to protect the country and serve our people. For the integrity of the country and protection of the lives and property of the citizens, our policemen can sacrifice every thing,” he maintained.
