The Punjab government Tuesday announced to reduce the cost of CNG transport by 25-30 percent following the decrease in CNG prices.
The decision regarding the new fares was announced after Provincial Minister for Transport Syed Zaeem Qadri held a meeting with the representatives of transport association here at Transport House.
While talking to the media after the meeting, Zaeem Qadri told the fares of intra-city CNG transport has been reduced by 30 percent while the cost of inter-city transport by 25 percent.
The minister continued saying that if the government can ensure uninterrupted CNG supply throughout the week, the cost can be further slashed.
