Karachi Saddar Town Municipal Administration drafted a comprehensive plan for collection of the hides of sacrificed animals and for the maintenance of cleanliness.
Chief Officer of Municipal Administration Saddar Town, Asim Ali Khan finalized the arrangements for cleanliness during the Eid-ul-Azha in a meeting held on Monday. The meeting was jointly chaired by members Sindh Assembly, Muqeem Alam, Tahir Qureshi and Shoaib Ibrahim. Asim informed the participants that seven collection points at Kikri Ground Kharadar, Baba-i-Urdu Road, Masham Ali Road, Urdu Bazar near Government College for Women Frere Road, Glasstower Clifton, Hasrat Mohani Road and Boat Basin had been set up by the district administration. The dumping site was chosen in Korangi area by the administration. The town administration would also spray germicides across the city. Asim informed that complaint centres would be established at Saddar Town and Jamshed Ahmed Khan School near PIDC Bridge and the complaint centres would be functional around the clock.
