SC bench to take up Karachi unrest case on Tuesday

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, has constituted a six-member bench to hear the case of law and order situation in Karachi.
The apex court’s larger bench will take up the case on Tuesday in Supreme Court’s Karachi registry.
The bench, comprising Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani, Justice Amir Hani Muslim, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Athar Saeed, will hear set of petitions about unrest in Karachi till Thursday.

  1. The CJP who was himself a victim of MQM on the 12th May has al last taken notice of what is happening in Karachi. He can't be that naive not to know who is behind ongoing violence in Karachi

  2. The CJP despite aware of thuggish activities unleashed by so called political party MQM had praised this fascist organisation for the reasons best known to him. Frankly, the CJP will blame all others but MQM.

  3. Oh, not again. Last time he took the notice of unrest in Karachi, and after sitting in Karachi high court for 1 month for the hearing of this case and announcing the decision,since then violence has increased manifold there. One can only wonder what will happen after this notice and hearing. And by the way have CJ successfully brought the peace in Baluchistan. Because we have been listening his Sultan rahi style of remarks on Baluchistan issue since many months.
