Several parts of the city faced acute water shortage as the water tanker owners observed strike on Saturday.
People of the city are compelled to buy water from tanker owners normally but it is a very tough situation now as the people even cannot get the basic need, the water, by paying money.
The problem is acute in Defence, Clifton and other areas of the city.
People are suffering from the conflict between the Water Tanker Owners Welfare Association and the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) as both have their own interests.
