Son-in-law of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was granted bail after a local court on Friday accepted his bail plea in bakery torture case.
Judicial magistrate in Lahore’s session court granted bail to Ali Imran against security bonds of Rs50,000. He was handed over to police on 14-day remand on Thursday.
Ali Imran on Wednesday surrendered to police reportedly on the directives of Shahbaz Sharif, who is also central leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
Imran’s other accomplices, six policemen and two civilians, have already been granted bail in the case. They were accused of torturing a young bakery worker for not serving Imran’s wife and Shahbaz Sharif’s daughter Rabia Imran.
The incident came to light when a CCTV video surfaced on social media websites showing the bakery employee being beaten by guards of Punjab CM’s daughter.
The CCTV footage indicates that Rabia Imran tried to enter a bakery in Lahore at around 12:00 PM but the bakery was closed. She opened the bakery by force using her guards and wanted to buy some bakery items (probably a cake).
The guard in the Bakery tried to tell her that bakery is closed right now and she can’t buy, prompting Rabia to lash out at the guard as the footage shows.
The bakery worker should have known that in a kingdom the prince and princes do not take a NO for a reply. This video should make it very clear to citizens that they are subjects of a kingdom that belongs to Shareefs, Zardaris, Madhyana's etc and their kith and kins. This bakery worker in future will not dare to say NO, to any member of the ruling elite.
The real prince and princes do not behave like that. The said behaviour is typical of cheap upstarts.

The point is made …
One should think twice before refusing Queen Antoinette her cake …
.
Not the queen but woman with connections to political mafia.
next time they will take care of CCTV first! I dont think they will learn anything from it!
Big Topi drama to fool the public. Why Shahbaz did not arrest his daughter who was the real accused and against whome proofs existed. Why to involve his son in law against whome there r no solid proofs: A drama to hide injustice of Shahbaz for protecting his daughter.
I am not a supporter of PPP, or a fan, but as far as seats are concerned Marvi Mamon and the Danggi Bothers think they can win seats by joining Qoom Prast they have another thought coming, a person like Ayaz Palejo cannot win a consular seat from his own house let alone a National or Provencal Assembly seat, to be honest everyone in Sindh Know that how Prejudice Danggi Brothers really are from his last Government, I dont think anyone in Sindh weather Urban or Rural have forgotten, how he stopped the Thar Coal Project, Kati Bandar Port Project, Karachi Mass Transit Project, how extra judicial killings went on in Karachi, with all the money and Qoom Prast and Marvi Mamon he can not win a single seat, and in any case in rural Sindh its the land lord of the area who wins, so I dont think they have anyone significant who has joined them to win a seat.
Ali Imran appears to be the victim of the unrestrained behavior of his in-laws. How expediently they handed him over to police although he was no where on the crime scene nor is he responsible for the conduct of the Police Elite Force. The court also without seeing the case on merit, remanded him to Police Custody. Our Judiciary has still to learn a lot. They just act like a post office. Our Judiciary usually has a soft corner for right-wing affiliates. It has hanged Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for ordering the execution of his political opponent. Let us see that whether the honorable SC will take a suo moto notice against the son-in-law of Khadam-e-Ala for ordering his minions to thrash a lowly bakery servant…
