Sindh Member Assembly Nishat Muhammad Zia Qadri was apprised of public sector arrangements for facilitation of the Hindu community to celebrate the holy festival of Navratri, in Shah Faisal Town. The MPA paid detailed visits to the temples and settlements of the Hindu community in the Shah Faisal Town and inspected the arrangements. He also met with the leaders of Hindu community at New Iqbalabad near Drig Road and greeted them on Navratri on behalf of MQM chief Altaf Hussain. The MPA apprised by the people of the problems being faced by the Hindu community. He committed to raise their cases in higher corridors of power and to ensure solutions on a priority bases. Navratri is a Hindu tradition of worshipping deity Shakti for nine nights and ten days. The dates of the festivals are set in accordance with lunar cycles.
