Heavy fines were imposed on two petrol pumps in Tarnol for violating safety and security regulations, as part of a campaign headed by Islamabad’s administration. According to sources in the city administration, Assistant Commissioner, Islamabad Saddar, Waqas Rasheed imposed heavy fines on the owners of two petrol pumps in Tarnol for violating safety and security rules. Petrol pumps, whose owners had been fined, included Al-Riyad Filling Station and Kaka Khel CNG Station. The campaign had been launched due to the occurrence of many accidents in different rural areas of Islamabad due to insufficient safety and security arrangements.
