Violence continues in Quetta: 4 including polio worker killed

At least four persons including a polio immunization team worker were gunned down in separate incidents of violence here on Tuesday.
In first incident, some unknown armed persons opened indiscriminate firing on oil tanker that was taking oil for Nato forces in Afghanistan from Karachi. When they opened Indiscriminate firing a driver Umair Ahmad died on the spot and his companion Khadim Hussain sustained severe injuries. The criminals fled away from the scene successfully.
On getting information, police reached the spot and shifted the injured and dead body to Dera Murad Jamali hospital for medical aid.
Later on, police registered the case and started through investigation.
In other incident, some unknown armed persons shot dead volunteer of polio immunization team in Quetta.
According to police some unknown armed persons opened indiscriminate firing on Imran Ali in Rand Garh who was volunteer of polio vaccination team and he died on the spot while the criminals fled away from the scene successfully.
On getting information police reached the spot and took the dead body into their custody and shifted the dead body to hospital for autopsy.
After completing legal formalities the body was handed over to his heirs.
Later on, police registered the case and started search for criminals.
It is pertinent to mention here that three days polio campaign was started from Tuesday in different areas of Balochistan.
After this terror incident all polio immunizers are in state of panic.
In another incident some unknown armed persons gunned down two laborers in the area of Turbat here on Tuesday.
According to details, some unknown armed persons opened indiscriminate fire on two laborers Riaz and Sher as a result he died on the spot. Meanwhile the criminals fled away from the scene successfully. Levies forces took the dead bodies into custody and shifted them to hospital for autopsy.
Later on, they told that these two hailed from Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. Levies forces registered the case and started thorough investigation.
