At least seven people including three women and a child were drowned into river Swat when wires of the chairlift snapped on Tuesday.
The mishap occurred when wire of a wooden cable car installed over the river Swat facilitating people to cross the gushing river in Bahrain area broke and all the passengers were swept away by the strong river currents.
According to sources, rescue operation is underway. Body of a woman has been fished out by the rescuers where as search if rest of the six bodies was under way till filing of the report.
